******************************************************************** REKKID REVIEWS ********************************************************************

KEEK - SWEET DECAY - HEAD IN THE CLOUDS (DOMESTIC) 4 tracks of big clear sounding minimalism from Chris Sattinger...WONDER is a clackity galloping journey with this odd repeting vox sample, oh yeah, this works! BASS AND...is a trippy down groove punctuated with fast space blips and samples of the words 'perfect' and 'bass and'. POWDER SPOT hits the spot with it's minimal trancing sounds, primal beat and buzzin', beepin' and blipin'. STRANGE HEAD is an effective minimal hed-fuk with a hi-pitched sound and drippy percolating. 4.5 out of 5

BOCHUM WELT - MODULE 2 - REPHLEX Ooh, more weird good stuff from Rephlex. 8 tracks that range from electro-precussion, to sweet blippy ambience, to deep bassy drama, to melodica electronica. A good mixing tool for those wacky ambient sets! 3/5

MIKE DRED - THE NEEDLE CRACKER - DIATOMIC mad,Mad,MAD! 3 versions, Crack 1, 2 & 3...1&3 are the ones...big sweeping deep electric acid drummy bass burners...builds and builds and drills...You trance, Dammit! 4.5/5

NOOM EP - VA - STATE OF MIND (DOMESTIC) 4 track sampler put out by the Under Cover Music Group and all of 'em are excellent! Acrid Abeyance remixes Nexus 6's 'AB Chic' with feeling, it keeps changing and growing - an excellent dancing banger! Abe Duque takes on Troop's 'The State' with off-time rythyms and flying things for a weird minimal groover. On the flip side, it's the Oh so buzzy'N'bassy, deep Commander Club Dub of Mandala's 'Evolution' "doin' them things" (well, that's what it sounds like!). And to wrap things up, it's Commander Tom featuring Core's 'Energy' with big synths, big beats, an acid hoe-down and all around drama. 5/5

DIRECT FROM THE MACHINES - ULT 1-4 - AURAL SATISFACTION Strong and strange minimalism from Frankfurt, and more experimental than the usual trax on this label. Sounds range from huge bassy rubberized sliding beats with squelchy acid to grating, ringing hi-pitched efx, bangin' beatz, runny percussion and cool riddims with mellow beats. 4/5

WIDEO KIDS - VIV WOMAN!/CRIX - RE:VERB Crix is a feel good Tech-house pumper with strings'n'synths, claps'n'pianos, and a great big bass beat, while Viv Woman! takes it a bit deeper into trance with a primal feel and lots of clackity swirly shit, big beats and a really cool eerie sound. 4/5

SAPIANO & THE PARTYCRASHERS - SIGNAL/SQUEEKY CLEAN - Emissions Audio Output I love these guyz, and each release from them has gotten better - more intense and fun! Signal feels like a train clackin' along the tracks to yer mind...Bam! The beats grow to a deep mover...it's talking to me. The flip's 2 cutz - Squeeky Clean is a jumpy, pumpin techno acid beats and hi-hat fueled workout, while Indecent Proposal starts with one, then a huge bass drops in, metal rods start bangin', an' it just gets better and better from there! Funkeee Sheeeit! 4/5
